Day 1 New Delhi to Kathmandu Today is the first day of my dream vacation for Everest Base camp . So many people just think about to go there but yes today I m going there in actual so i m so much excited . My flight was Nepal Airlines Timings are 10.30 AM from Terminal 3 New Delhi Indira Gandhi Airport . Nepal Airlines is so bad in timings they shifted the timings to 12.30 first then 2 then finally by god grace flight take of around 3 PM . Obviously I will not recommend Nepal Airlines to anyone . Till now I am so so hungry , So first I thought I will eat at Kathmandu then I have to eat protein bars which i purchased from Airport only . Its around 2 hours journey from New delhi to Kathmandu Airport by Flight . So Around 5 Pm Indian Time I landed there (Nepal is 15 mins ahead of India ) after checkout I went out from the Airport . Important Things to DO at Nepal Airport Take currency from ATM Card or from Exchanges . My recommendation is from ATM card as its more cheap .Purchase Sim card with good Internet Plan . My recommendation is Ncell Company as you will get the network almost everywhere .Take a taxi from Airport to your hotel , of course you can negotiate they will try to give you costly price but approx to Thamel Govt rate is 700 Nepalise Rupees . YOU can Negotiate more . My Hotel was at Thamel . I had Dinner at some local Place It was a delicious Lemon Chicken with Rice . My Suggestion is that you should sleep early as you need to start your day early next day . And take a
